The man who has changed Japanese Accounting : 日本の会計を変えた男

I met the guy who changed Japanese accounting system.
He is a founder of Tohmatsu (Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu), Mr. Tomita.

I think I’ve been really lucky to see someone.

There are many of bribery, fraud on TV in Japan which we can’t expect good
future, but, but there are definitely great guys who achieved economic growth after the war. I think massmedia should focus on those guys rather than stupid news.

He said that he’s never done accounting fraud. If his client asked him to do that, he finished the deal with that client. His determination is such strong. If he refuses clients offer, he will lose clients and lost money. People can hardly do like that, but he’s never lost his ethics.

If an accountant does fraud, the worst case is to bankrupt eventually.
What is the accountant?
What is essential?

I know everyone needs money and can’t really survive, but someone who leaves big result would never do wrong thing.

Let’s think about our daily life, and there might be a little wrong thing.

Keep fairness, openly and squarely, low-key effort.

There are lots of business managers who has got chariness. It’s important factor to be manager. They’ve got sense of management, but it works while the company is remaining its size as small and medium.

I can’t really explain what the main factor of manager of big company, but there is obviously difference between manager of big company and small medium size company.

The man who achieve big thing, is careful, but has big view (bird’s-eye view), never be arogant and doesn’t want established rights. He is gracious.

New enterprise I’m gonna do in Japan is truly tough. Someone laugh at me and the others told me I shouldn’t do that.
Damn it, watch me! It turns into my energy.

自分でも思うが、人との巡り合わせは、本当についている。

日本のTVニュースを騒がせるのは汚職、不正、と将来を悲観させるようなニュース
ばかりだが、やはり戦後の日本の復興を支えた本物の先達は多くいる。
不祥事なんかより、こうした方たちにもっとスポットを当てて、日本のマスコミは
取り扱うべきだ。

まず、粉飾決済。粉飾決算を迫られるような会社とは取引しない。断固たる意思を
持たれていた。
飯のタネが逃げるわけだ。クライアントを逃すことは死活問題。
でも、そうした馴れ合いを続けた上におきる最悪のケースが倒産。
会計士の仕事はなんだ？
本質だった。

綺麗ごとだけじゃ成り立たない。でもそれを貫き通した人っていうのが最後に何かを
残す人だと思う。

自分自身であったって小さい単位の不正とまではいかないまでもズル？は日常生活
であるかも知れない。

常に公明正大に、正々堂々、そしてこつこつと。

経営者で慎重な人、多いですね。非常に重要な素質です。経営のセンスもあるでしょう。
でも、中小企業までのレベル。

本当に大きな結果を残す人は、慎重でありながらも、大きな視点があり、物事を
俯瞰でき、偉ぶらない。権力に居座らない。そういう潔さがある。

何というか経営者、それとトップのリーダー、うまく説明できないが、決定的な差が
あるように思う。おぼろげながらに感じられる。

これから日本で成し遂げようとする事業。困難は織り込み済み。ある人は嘲笑う。
なにくそ、と思う。今に見ていろ、と。これがパワーに変わる。

その代わり、お世話になった人には恩返しです。
