Strength of Toyota : トヨタの強さ

I’ve read Toyota’s book.
When people talk about Toyota, JIT or TPS is usually talked, but the biggest strength is not that sort of skill or method.
Toyota’s biggest strength is its “People (Employee)” and “Implovement” called “Kaizen”. That’s it. JIT and TPS was just subsidairy and was established during their effort of improvemnt.
Hi-brid car is not that important. Toyota will probably be producing something new which is necessary of present-day or current economy circumstances.

Finally, the company is people.
Even if CEO can’t get money, employee is paid. Employee gets more than CEO, there should be the company like this. I want to be that one.

トヨタの本を読んだ。
トヨタの強さが論じられる時、よくJITとかカンバン方式とかが取り沙汰されるが、本当の強さはそんな表面上の技術論ではない。
トヨタの最大の強みはその「人」であり、トヨタイズムが染み込んだ社員達のたゆまぬ改善努力、これに尽きる。JITやカンバン方式はその努力から生まれた副産物に過ぎない。
ハイブリッド車とかそういった点の物事ではなく、トヨタは恐らく、その時代、経済状況に応じた新たなものを生み出し続けて行くだろう。危機感を持ち続ける「力」、これを失わない限り。

やっぱり企業は「人」ですね。
社長が食いっぱぐれたって、社員に給料を払う。社長より給料をもらう、こんな企業があったっていいと思う。そんな企業にしたい。
